Doing Up The Shed !!

We have inherited a very ugly sectional shed, it sits in the corner at the bottom of our garden.
So we are going to make the best of it (too expensive and wasteful to get rid of) It is going to take a while, but we have made a start by growing a clematis and honeysuckle on the outside walls, painted the door and added a shelf.
We have started painting the inside with ice cream colours (pots of paint we already had) So now the challenge is on, can we make this monstrosity into a pretty Garden Room, I shall be looking out for vintage and pre loved finds for the interior, magic wand needed!!

  3. It is a big space isn't it. I am always impressed when something good is made out of something unpleasant. I am not very good at this. Its something I have to work on. I would have probably got rid of the shed and then had a huge hole where it was and not known what to do with that!

  6. Thea, you can make this look so nice. Its a nice little space.
a couple of ideas. You could hang some nice soft plain material from the side of the ceiling to the middle and put a nice hanging lamp there..morrocan style.. you will have much fun.
look forward to seeing it all finished.
    Happy wednesday

  8. Hi Thea, this is such a wonderful post! I have a an old garage that looks similar to your shed, and I keep promising to paint it to use as my own workshop/office - I simply never get round to doing anything with it - I think that I am far too intimidated to begin! It's very inspirational to see you transform yours, the flowers already look amazing, and I look forward to seeing the end result. x
