Sewing for Christmas*~*

Yes I know Its still early to be thinking about Christmas, but I have a lot of ideas for making pressies this year, so I have started early, I have made a few items of prettiness from the Tilda books that Fin bought for me.....

I started with the Pixie Girls....

Then Santa .....

And then I made a few hanging cones to fill with treats...

There I shall now put them away until December..now what else shall I make ( I have started a Bunny!)

  5. Oh Thea they are truly lovely!! I have the Tilda Spring and Summer books, I'm hoping to make something from them for next year, I sadly haven't had the time this year. The Christmas book looks great, I love what you have made so far :) I think it's always good to start early with Christmas, this year has flown by for me quicker than any other I think because my Baby Boy was born just 3 weeks before Christmas day last year, it all passed me by in a bit of a blur - I love Christmas and am really looking forward to it this year xx

  6. Hi Thea
They are so cute; you are clever, they look very well made. I'm loving the fact you have fairy lights on your dresser too! Cup hooks are a good idea, must get some, then I can cram lots more bric-a-brac on the shelves!!
    have a lovely weekend!

  8. Thea, you've got me all excited now! ;-) Your creations are beautiful and thank you SO much for reminding me that, instead of mourning the end of summer, I have plenty to look forward such as making Christmas hares!

I sew a little for work, soo when I come home, very little on this front gets done....

  15. Not to early at all to start doing Christmas crafts..better early then leaving it to late I say (it always seems like a mad rush to get everything done within just December..the list of things to do is too long :P).
I love the cute pixie girl and the santa. I look forward to seeing the bunny :)

    1. Hi Julie
Thank you for your sweet words
Yes I machine stitched the seams, and hand stitched when putting the dolls together, they are a bit fiddly
