Celebrating the Spring Equinox *~*

Getting ready for spring....

I picked a few bare branches at the weekend, hoping that they will be in the green by next week...

Picked a few Hellebores from the garden..( I always seal the stems with a flame).....

Filled tiny glass vases .....

I made paper cones from silver doilies, filled up with a few goodies....

The Spring Equinox is tomorrow so I wish you all a joyful Springtide  (even if it is still blooming cold outside)

  3. Aw Thea, I just adore your little Easter tree. I have one too and you can see it on my sidebar. Love the tiny cones for Easter treats. Such a sweet idea and little ones would love to find them. Isn't Easter and Spring-time the loveliest time of year. Hugs, Deb

  7. Lots of prettiness here Thea! Love your decorations and the hellebore flowers are so right in those small vases.I would never have thought of doing that! I have a beautiful purple flowered hellebore in our garden but it is now covered in snow after an unexpected snow shower this morning.I have put up some easter bunny decorations for my grandchildren and they are loving them! Enjoy your week!!

  11. Your Springtime branches look perfect! The eggs and paper cones are so pretty and delicate. This year I want to start a forsythia bush as I love to bring that bright yellow in early Spring indoors (not that ANY shrubs are flowering yet here!). Have a great week Thea! Wendy :)

  13. Your branches and flowers are lovely. I also picked branches and bought them in at the weekend and decorated. They cheered me up with all the cold and wet weather we had over the weekend. I like you idea with the doilies.
