A Few Little Finds *~*

Sharing a few little finds..

.

 A vintage tea cosy...pretty stitching

A pressed glass candlestick with droplets....

Two metal jewellery box's ..I have put my brooches in one and my rings in the other....

This little china dog..now I must confess I am not a dog person ( I am quite scared of them)..but I felt sorry for this one, he was thrown in a basket containing old broken toys...

I think he is smiling....

A pretty floral teacup.....

And finally a book of flowers...

Friends are like stars, even though you cannot see them, you know they are there...

  1. I love the little sentence at the end and it's very true. I am not a dog person either - as I write this I have two cats curled close as the weather has turned wet and windy again blowing all the petals from our huge magnolia. I think your little china dog is smiling to have a new home in your pretty house. Karen xx

  3. Dear Thea,

It's a shame you live so far away. We could go flea market hunting together :-). Love your finds. The little doggy is sweet, the candlestick holder very pretty. So is the floral cup.

    Happy weekend!

  14. I love to see what others find in their scavenging and you have not disappointed! I too am a cat person though sadly we now have no little friends at home, but are sharing in the love of a tiny being who has just come to live with my grandsons. She is called Betty. And amazingly my sons cat is called Frank!! I do love your dog though. I picked up two CK style Stanley's when car booting and I love them. Finally I have to admit to some very sinful envy of those silver boxes. Oh how Beautiful they would look in my new French styled bedroom (not yet a fact but planned on paper). I will be scouring all my favourite haunts for such lovelies.
