A Spring Day Out *~*

Last weekend we took a little trip out.. just a short drive ...to here

Packed a picnic and a flask..

And we walked along the river....

The Peak District is beautiful when the sun shines down..

Passing pretty houses on the way...

Old grey stone walls....

Beautiful scenery.....

                           Mothers and toddlers group...

Twins in the sun...

The duck path....

Then we popped into here for a quick drink...

Tiny and traditional...

perfect

Fire blazing.. (even though the sun was out there was quite a chilly wind blowing)

Back on our way,  It is so lovely to be out and about we must do it more often...

  8. I have thoroughly enjoyed this virtual walk through an area I've never been to but still hope I will do one day. Can there be anything more English than that? The beautiful green fields, bubbling brooks ,lambs (but of course we are in spring) and little houses I'd love to peek inside. If you round it off with a visit to an old pub ... a perfect day! Many thanks for this tour Thea :-)

    keep well

    Amanda :-)

  12. We have just returned from a short break in Wales and the scenery was very like this, and with loads of lambs too! We are very lucky here in the UK to have such delights and usually not too far away. Glad you enjoyed your little ramble.
