Autumn Equinox and Dresser.....*~*

Just a little post to celebrate Autumn.....
The rose garland has been put away and the leaves are falling....
Candles are flickering...



blackberry jam....
Plum jam...the harvest is gathered in





 berries in the window...

  18. Hello Thea, Your dresser always looks so wonderful. I love the look you have given it for autumn. Do you have a good recipe for blackberry jam? My granddad used to make wonderful blackberry jam and I have never found a recipe to match his, most recipes are for bramble jelly.

    1. Hello Sarah
      I used my Auntie Ruby's recipe
      1lb blackberries (Fin picked them) 10oz sugar, 6fl oz water, juice of 1 lemon
      Warm sugar,simmer fruit in water until soft, gently dissolve sugar in the fruit add lemon juice bring to boil hard boil 8/10 mins until set
      I hope that helps, let me know if you need anymore info
