What October Means To Me *~*

October is a special month to me..I love the mellow mists and the soft grey light...

The fluttering leaves falling, waving goodbye....

Woodland walks are so full of secrets....

Rummaging in the wardrobe to find my woolly jumper...

Picking fruits from mother nature, such a special treat....

Baking a pie for a cosy afternoon tea, is heaven to me...(I made a plum and almond tart)

Cosy cushions on my sofa ready for a snuggle...

And flickering candles as the light of the day disappears ....Autumn hugs.. keep warm  Thea x

  2. I'm embarrassed to say I haven't been round your way for quite a looooong time. I've just read back to the end of summer posts, and think I'm quite caught up now :) Love the little bathroom makeover, and also your sitting room with the painted fireplace ... the rough beam mantle looks great with all that white. Your images of the woods on today's post capture the 'autumn' mood very well ... love the masses of roots from the beech tree. And the knitted pillow is very cozy looking. I've been thinking of knitting a pillow cover with cables all summer, but haven't got to that just yet. It was nice to see all that you've been up to Thea! Wendy x
