Spring Awakening...

Yesterday I collected Willow from my garden and wound it into a wreath,  found a few spring flowers and branches and celebrated the fact that the earth is slowly waking ....

Displayed the nest that I found on the ground last year with the tiny Feverfew and Primula flowers...
Added my moon gazing hare and tealights...
Just to enjoy the fact that Spring is on her way...

A few signs of Spring in vases...Thea xx

  5. Ahh lovely! I can see signs of spring all around Thea. I think it will arrive really early this year unless we get a really cold snowy spell. I have daffodils that are almost ready to flower in my garden, they are really early. I noticed today as I left work at 5 o'clock that it was still light (only just but give it a couple more weeks and it will be properly light).

  6. Your arrangements look wonderful Thea. I can't wait to cut my first Forsythia branches from the garden and watch the buds open!

  7. ~ Ooh We were cheated from spring last year, with the terrible snow falls that took away lots of our baby lambies...(soo cruel)
But like Anne says ...5pm and coming from work yesterday and it was pretty much light, here in Cumbria..WOW!
Beautiful, spring displays, Thea...I love the moon gazing hare...I'm thinking he's a lot like me...A dreamy one...
Wishing you a lovely day, with lots of inspiration...

  8. Nothing nicer than candlelight on a winter's day, but good news that the days are getting lighter, and yes, signs that spring is indeed coming!

Thanks for your kind comments Thea, they really mean a lot.

  9. I love your moon hare. Your post reminds me to get more daffodils today, a little more spring is needed in this house as the rain is on it's way later and the winds are still howling!
